On the 17th of October I suddenly realized that the kids were going to have a 4 day weekend. So...I called my Mom and ask her if we came down if she could get Friday off to spend with us. She said yes so we started putting our plan into action. We decided to leave Thursday morning so we could get down there in time to go to the pumpkin patch on half price day. The kids were sooooo excited to get to Boise to visit Grandma and their cousins.
Here are some pics from the pumpkin patch.....
Aspynn sitting on a hay stack
Kaden looking cute for a pic.....
Why is it that even a tire can be soooooo fun!?!?!?
Aspynn posing on the tractor tire
Saige climbed across 4 tires just to get to this one to pose for a pic
Saige, a cute little boy that just really wanted to be in the pic, and Aspynn

Aspynn, Kiara and Kaden on the hay ride to get a pumpkin
It was PITCH dark out in the pumpkin patch so we took a pic of each pumpkin the kids thought they might want....Aspynn decided this one was too small....but very cute....she decided to keep looking.....
Saige's final pic for her pumpkin....I tried to get her to want one with a stem, but she thought this one looked like a baby......
Aspynn's final pumpkin pick....we couldn't see the colors as well as we could later when we got it home.....I LOVED the colors of this pumpkin.....
Kaden's final pumpkin pick....his didn't have a stem either....as a matter of fact all 3 of my kids chose pumpkins without stems....silly kids....anyhow...he LOVED his pumpkin....it weighed 23.5 lbs
Jake (my nephew) with his 60+ lb pumpkin....he likes to get the largest one he can find....silly boy!!!We were all wishing we had brought a flashlight...that would have made this experience soooo much easier!!!!
Kiara with her final pumpkin pick.....notice she chose one with a stem....
Bree with her pumpkin
Trinitee with her pumpkin....notice she also has a stem
Tristynn and her final choice....her's doesn't have a stem because she took Trinitee's first pumpkin that Jake accidentally broke the stem off of.....
