On Friday, February 12 the kids had their Valentine's Day parties at school. Aspynn and I volunteered to make treats for Saige's class and to take some chocolate syrup into Kaden's class for him ice cream sundae's. Well...on the way in to the school Aspynn looked over and saw this cute little deer. There are a few funny parts to this.....(1) Aspynn thought it was sooooo funny that this deer was "fenced in". Well....the deer wasn't really fenced in, he had obviously jumped over this small fence at the kids school to go lay down next to the building. I find this funny because when we were in Boise the only time the kids saw deer (for the most part) was when we went to the zoo and there they are fenced in all the time. Funny how that was flipped around!!! Funny thing #2 was that the deer would even want to the be next to a school building FULL of kids. Around here the deer really just do whatever they want and don't really let the people scare them. Anyhow....we watched the deer for a minute and then went into the school and helped with the kids parties.

Saige handing out her Valentine's to her friends
Saige loved writing everyone's names on the Valentine's. She thought it was sooooo much fun!!!
Saige's class delivering the valentine's to each other
Kaden smiling (I think that is a smile) for the camera. He was sooooo excited to get ice cream sundae's for his party. His new favorite thing is caramel syrup so he was thrilled that he was going to be able to put that on his ice cream.
Opening and reading his Valentine's
Aspynn was soooooo excited because in Saige's class the kids had some extra Valentine's and they wanted to give them to her. We go in and help out in Saige'e class once a week and so they all love her and she loves them as well. They were soooo sweet to include her. The kids really made her day!!!HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
