The Vigilante Parade

Every year since 1924 Helena has had a Vigilante Parade. This is not one of those elaborate, expensive parades that most of us think of when we hear the word "parade", it is a parade put on by the local high school Juniors and Seniors. It's amazing how many people come out in the rain, snow and rarely we will get some sunshine. The kids do their best (or a least try a little) to represent a group of themes they are given to stick to. Anything from Canyon Ferry Lake Then and Now, to the Governor's Cup, to local fire depts. It is always very cute!!! Our kids look forward to going to the parade every year and they think it is really cool that they get let out of school early to go see the parade.
Anyhow...here are some pics of the kids at the parade.

We took Kaitly and Kimber with us (more people = more fun!!)
Saige and Kimber shared a chair (they really liked that)

Aren't they soooo cute!! On the way I stopped and grabbed the kids a hot dog and a drink to keep them happy during the parade (what's better than food and entertainment?!?!?!)

The LONE Boy!!! It's hard living with only sisters!!!
