On our way home from Boise we received a call from a couple in our ward inviting us over for a little New Years get together. They said they do things a little different, they celebrate at 10pm (12pm New York time) so you can get your kids home and to bed before they are exhausted. Anyhow....when we got there we all had appetizers, drinks, desserts, played cards, played the Wii, socialized etc. Then when it was 9:55 Tiffany and her husband started to scramble. They gave each of the kids (there were probably 20 give or take kids there) a tube and a blow horn. They told all the kids to go upstairs and to fling the tube forward. Well needless to say Jake and I had never seen these tubes before and had no idea what was about to happen.

The kids thought it was so much fun they all got plastic bags and continued to fill them up and run back upstairs and throw more confetti. It was sooooo cute and soooooo much fun!!

Eventually there is some clean up work to be done. I thought it would take a lot longer than it did, but with everyone helping we were back to playing the Wii and eating and socializing before we knew it.
