Easter Morning

Easter Morning the kids got out of bed and came and ask me if they could go and see what the Easter Bunny brought to our house, well I told them they needed to go downstairs and wake Grandma and Aunt Kari up first and then they can come up and look at what is in their baskets. So after a few seconds the kids are back saying....Grandma and Aunt Kari weren't down there...can we PLEASE look in our baskets. So I called my Mom and they had run to rent a car for my Aunt because her work had called and they thought she was going to need to run to back to Boise....Anyhow...long story short.....it didn't work out and they came back home. Before they got home the kids noticed the Easter Bunny had hid some Easter Eggs around the house so they searched for those and threw them in their baskets. After they found all the eggs they looked through their baskets. The kids were soooooo excited!!!

Grandma Yearsley bought all the kids new clothes for Easter/Spring. We look forward to this every year. The kids always look so nice in their bright new springy clothes. Aren't they soooo cute!! Thanks Grandma Yearsley!!

After going through all of the Easter stuff the kids told us the Easter Story in a cute/ fun way the Primary Presidency put together for the kids. They did such a great job!! We were given a dozen plastic eggs that were filled with different things that symbolize different parts of the Easter story as well as pieces of paper that tell the story and quote scriptures. It was soooo cute...to give you an idea there is a nail in the egg that talks about them driving the nails through Christs hands and then we talked with the kids about it and pushed the nail into the kids hands just a little bit so they could feel how it must have hurt the Savior. I am so thankful for this special way that our family was able to talk about the Easter story together.

After that we went downstairs and watched Conference.
