Disneyland

September 25, 2009 Jake's parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. So, to celebrate in 2008 all of us kids started to put our heads together on what we could do for them to make it special. Well....we tossed around a lot of ideas, but in the end we decided they would LOVE to go to Disneyland with the Grand kids. So....on Oct. 30, 2009 we left Helena for the Sunny State of California. We finally got to our condo on Nov. 1 and the kids were THRILLED to be there. They just couldn't wait to go to Disneyland. We spent 3 total days there and had a BLAST!!! I think 3 days was perfect because we were able to go on EVERY ride and we went on their favorites 2 or 3 times.

Anyhow....here are some pics of the trip.....

The kids after eating dinner at Circus Circus in Las Vegas (We always go here because this is where my family ate when we were in Vegas when I was a kid. My brother and I LOVED it back then and my kids LOVE it today)
After dinner we went upstairs to where the games are and the kids played a few games. They were so excited to show me what they had won!!!

At dinner the next night the kids needed to burn off some energy from all the time they had spent in the car so Jake had them all outside running around.

After we got to the condo my kids couldn't help themselves, the just HAD to go swimming!! So off we went to the pool for just a little bit because we had a full day of Disneyland the next morning.

Saige and Aspynn still just play on the steps. I think they are soooo cute!!

Gotta love those 3 cute little faces. We had such a good time swimming together!!

This is Kaden's idea of a dive. I was laughing my head off!!

Waiting for the bus to come and pick us up to go to Disneyland!!

Before we could even get in the gates of Disneyland Aspynn saw the Tinker Bell car and she was soooooo excited!! We had to get a TON of pics of her with it, with the family with it, with her and Kaden with it....are you getting the picture yet....SHE LOVED IT!!

So....In the end we LOVED Disneyland this year. The kids were old enough that they thought it was AWESOME!! They had a blast!! We loved the fact that they all could go on almost every ride. The only thing we had a problem with is Aspynn wasn't tall enough to ride Indiana Jones so she had to stay with Grandma Jenkins, but other than that we went on everything together. The favorite ride by consensus was Splash Mountain. Second was Big Thunder Mountain Train. Third was the Haunted Mansion. In the words of my kids...."It was AWESOME!!!"

Oh, such fun pictures. I don't know if I dare show my kids these pics....they will be SO jealous. Looks so fun, can't wait to go someday. I was asking Ashley last night about Disneyland, and she said, "I don't want to go, it's not real anyways." How sad is that. Now we REALLY need to take them, now they don't think it exists. LOL
