4th Of July Fireworks

Forth of July was Sunday so we went to Church (of course) Sunday morning and then while we were at Church there was a flyer going around inviting everyone out to a members house who puts on a HUGE fireworks show (not Boise Huge, it's a private showing, but considering Helena doesn't even do a fireworks show) out at his ranch and we were all invited. So that night we headed out there. It was sooo much fun!!! Our freinds the Jackson's, the Miller's, the Allen's etc were all there so we were able to sit and chat while we waited for fireworks. There were also some little pre-fireworks shows they did (Queen City Ballet was there putting on a little show, there were talks, there was music, they handed out glow necklaces for the kids etc.) it was awesome......well...that is until the rain. Sadly, what seemed like seconds before the fireworks started it started raining, and when I say raining I really mean it. It wasn't a light drizzle, it was rain. We had blankets over our heads and everything trying to stay dry. It was an interesting evening!!!

On July 5th we got together with the Jackson's and the Miller's for dinner and after dinner we all came back to our house for some fireworks (we had some left over fireworks from the past few years, nothing really exciting, but we wanted to set them off anyway)

After we ran out of fireworks Kyle and Heidi mentioned that they had some M80's (I think that is right) that they were wanting to set off.....so now the party was started. Their fireworks were AWESOME!!! They were big, beautiful and loud. Thanks to the Jackson's for putting on the show!!!!
