So, we regret to say we NEVER got out camping this year so Jake wanted to do something special for the kids so while I was getting them ready for bed he started setting up all our camping stuff (except the tent) on the back porch. So, instead of going camping we camped in the backyard under the stars on the porch. The kids thought it was sooo awesome. They were so excited to fall asleep looking at the stars. I have to admit we still get deer etc in our yard so I was happy Jake decided to put us o the deck because I don't think the deer have ever come up on our porch. Anyhow...it was a lot of fun.

I had to get a pick of the cute smile. They were just soooo excited to be surprised with sleeping outside. I love how kids love the simple things.
