Aug 1 Part 2 ~ Cave Falls

After going to the temple (still Aug 1) we drove over to Cave Falls. We had never been to these falls over on the Falls River so we thought we would check them out to see if Thane, Monica and their family would be interested in seeing them or if we should just go to Mesa Falls like we always had.

Well...when we first got there we saw some small falls and they were pretty, but nothing to get too excited about, but we decided to get out and take a look anyway....

Kaden LOVES to throw stick into whitewater to see how it will run through. It is really cute!!!

FINALLY we found the actual Cave Falls. It was a beautiful waterfall!!

The best part about it was you could get up close. We decided when we bring Monica and Thane back here we would let the kids put their feet in the water and play around a bit. But sadly it was getting close to the time Monica and Thane were thinking they would be meeting up with us in Island Park so we had to get going.

Quickly we decided to hike down to the lookout. It wasn't far so we thought it would be OK to take a second....

Aspynn standing next to the "really sturdy" fence to keep you from falling over. Aspynn was afraid to be anywhere near the fence. There were actually several places that the fence was broken.

Kaden is always happy to get a picture in with some beautiful scenery!!!

Then it was back out and up to the car.

We were VERY excited to come back and get in the water next time!!!
