July 31 we left for Island Park (we get together with Jake's family every couple years there) to visit with family and have some fun!!! Thane and Monica weren't able to come up until late on August 1st so we did some exploring before they got there.
One of the first things we did was on the morning of August 1st we loaded into the car to go to Rexburg and do a little shopping and to take the kids to see the temple. See....living in Helena means we pretty much NEVER get to see the temple. The hard part about this with little children is that we do have the Cathedral right here in town so every time we pass it Aspynn says, "that's NOT the temple, right Mom?" and we tell her that it is the Cathedral and we don't have a temple here but we will go see it someday. Anyhow....the kids were really excited to go see the Rexburg temple.
